
The world is on fire. The economic outlook is questionable, depending on how you feel about tariffs and bitcoin. The news is either bad or filled with misinformation—or both. Nothing seems normal. The road ahead is uncertain. How do we cope in such a crazy time?
One way is to take care of ourselves.
Take a break from the whirlwind if you can, especially now before the summer winds down. Enjoy some time off, even if it’s just a day or two. Stop doomscrolling. Put the phone down. And find comfort and connection with the people around us—our friends, our families, our business partners and clients.

Our associates and clients live in the same world we do. Whatever their leanings, they may also be feeling uneasy. This is a time to engage with empathy. Listen to their concerns, take care of their business needs, and help them get through.
